Lessons

If you are over seventeen, hold a provisional license ( though I do provide refresher lessons if you have a full licence and would like to brush up on your driving skills) and can read a new-style number plate from at least 20 metres then you are eligible for driving lessons.

What is covered?

Getting to know the car, controls, instruments, moving away safely plus stopping.
Changing gear and using the brakes correctly.
Steering, safe road position.
Use of Mirrors, Signals.
Anticipation, forward planning
Approaching T Junctions, emerging.
Roundabouts.
Dealing with oncoming vehicles and stationary vehicles.
Use of speed
Other road users
All manoeuvres covered, reversing, bay parking forward and in reverse, parallel parking etc.
Emergency stop
Pedestrian crossings.
Dual carriageways, country roads.
Use of Sat Nav.
Vehicle safety checks.
